Snap2PC sends documents from your phone to your own PC. We do not receive them, and we never learn what they are called or where they were filed.
Documents you send go directly from your phone to the PC you paired with, over your own network. They are encrypted on the phone so that only that PC can open them. We never receive them, store them, or have any means of reading them.
A document waiting to be delivered is held on your phone, in the app's private storage, until it reaches your PC or until it is removed after fourteen days. It is excluded from device backup, so it is not copied to a backup service.
Using Snap2PC requires an account, so that a receiving PC can tell who sent a document and refuse anything from a phone it does not recognise. Accounts are free.
An account belongs to a business, not to a phone. Whoever sets it up gives a business name, an email address, a display name and a password. Everyone else joins with a single-use invite code, so a password is never typed into somebody else's phone.
When a phone joins, we record its public key, the identifier derived from that key, a label you choose, and the date. That is what lets your PC confirm the phone belongs to your business. We do not ask for a phone number, a postal address, or access to your contacts.
That is the complete list. No document, file name, folder name or destination ever reaches our servers, and there is no technical means by which they could: documents travel directly from your phone to your PC, and are encrypted so that only that PC can open them.
Because documents never pass through us, we also cannot tell how many you send. Nothing on our side records that a document was scanned, delivered or filed.
All of it stays on the device. Uninstalling the app removes it.
Photographs you send are stripped of embedded metadata before they leave the phone, including location, device identifiers and timestamps.
The apps contain no analytics or advertising software, and no third-party tracking. We do not profile you, and we do not sell or share anything we hold.
The Windows app can check for updates over HTTPS. That request reaches a static file and discloses nothing about you or your documents beyond the ordinary details any web request carries, such as your IP address. It can be turned off in settings.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Snap2PC is a business tool and is not directed at children.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes affecting how documents are handled will be noted in the app's release notes.
